On Saturday, May 13, at approximately 7:50 p.m., the Goldsboro Police Department responded to Hi-5 Sweepstakes Internet, 565 E. New Hope Road, in reference an armed robbery.
Once officers arrived on-scene a female employee reported that about 7:12 p.m. a black male entered the business and pulled what appeared to be a handgun out and told an employee and a customer in the business at the time to not move.
The suspect demanded money and fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
