Teen beat up following last Sunday in the Park

An 18-year-old was jumped by a group of teenagers in Herman Park last Sunday night, according to a police report.
The report said the teenager was at the park with some friends around 7 p.m. Sunday when a group of five to seven white and black males about the same age as him confronted him.
Only one of the people began fighting him at first before another joined in, according to the report.
The report said the teenager was then knocked unconscious and does not remember any other details.
A friend tried to help him but was unsuccessful, according to the report.
The teenager had cuts and swelling on the right side of his face.
