Early morning shooting results in homicide

Police are investigating the first homicide of the year after responding to a shots fired call around 1:30 a.m. today and finding a 26-year-old shot to death in the 400 block of South Hollowell Street.
Tyreek Moninick Moody, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene by Wayne County EMS.
Police responded to the shots fired call early this morning and found Moody suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
There are no suspects at this time. The murder remains under investigation.
