Two charged with meth possession

Two men were arrested for possession of methamphetamine Wednesday after a traffic stop by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team.
Corey Manuel, 33, of 4660 U.S. 117 Alernate, Dudley, and Lloyed Whaley, 57, of 3016 N.C. 111 South, Seven Springs, were in a vehicle that was stopped for a regulatory violation.
Manuel and Whaley were allegedly in possession of roughly two grams of methamphetamine, and were charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Manuel was given a $2,000 secured bond, and Whaley was given a $1,000 secured bond.
