Benefit for children's home Nov. 5

Enjoy an evening of food and family fun at the Wayne County Fairgrounds on Saturday, Nov. 5. Eastern North Carolina barbecue with all the trimmings will be served from 5-7 pm, followed by a concert by the Malpass Brothers Band. The festivities will conclude with a spectacular fireworks show at 9 p.m.
Advance tickets may be purchased at the Paramount Theater or online at http://www.goldsboroparamount.com/que-for-the-kids.
Tickets include the meal and concert, and are $15 in advance and $18 at the gate.
Children 5 and under are admitted free of charge. All of the proceeds from the event will go to support the KW Methodist Children's Home which serves abandoned and orphaned children.
