Man charged with possession of marijuana

A Mount Olive man was arrested after Goldsboro police found marijuana during a vehicle search Saturday evening.
Kayloe Lamont Middleton, 34, 1530 Indian Springs Road, Mount Olive, was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule VI controlled substance and maintaining a motor vehicle for the sale of a controlled substance.
Around 10 p.m. Saturday, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1200 block of South Slocumb Street for a red light violation, according to a Goldsboro Police Department press release.
Upon investigating the vehicle, police reportedly seized 374 grams of marijuana and $983.
Middleston was a passenger in the vehicle.
He was held in the Wayen County Jail under a $2,500 secure bond.
