Shots reportedly fired in the city

There were two reports of shots fired in the city limits of Goldsboro Tuesday evening and early Wednesday morning.
The first report happened around 6:25 p.m. Tuesday evening in the form of a ShotSpotter alert in the 200 block of East Elm Street.
The second report of shots being fired happened around 2:20 a.m. Wednesday, when ShotSpotter alerted police to a single round being fired in the 600 block of North Jefferson Avenue.
There was no damage in the area, nor was there foot or vehicle traffic in the area at the time.
