Police arrest man on statutory rape charge

A Goldsboro man was arrested Tuesday on allegations of the statutory rape of a 15-year-old girl.
Richard Lee Cutshall, 30, of 2203 Apt. C Koonce St., was arrested and charged with statutory rape after investigators with the Goldsboro Police Department were tipped off by the 15-year-old girl's father that she was having an inappropriate relationship with Cutshall.
The investigation led to confirmation of the inappropriate relationship.
Cutshall was charged with statutory rape and given a $10,000 secured bond. His first appearance in Wayne County court was Wednesday.
