Southern Bank opens on Ash

Southern Bank in Goldsboro opened its newest banking facility at 2501 E. Ash St. on Tuesday.
The official grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 27. Refreshments will be provided in the lobby following the ribbon cutting, along with music, until 7 p.m.
The public is invited to drop by throughout the day and register to win a 50-inch high definition TV which will be given away as part of a grand prize drawing at noon on Friday, July 29.
"Please join us as we celebrate the opening of our second location in Goldsboro," said Scott Newton, Southern Bank senior vice president. "We are very excited about expanding our presence in the Goldsboro market."
