A Goldsboro man has been accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend with the help of his mother.
The alleged victim of the assault reported to police Wednesday that Shaquille Wright, 23, of 767 Stoney Creek Church Road, and his mother, Sonia Pridgen, allegedly blocked the victim's vehicle in and assaulted her.
The victim told police that after a brief argument with Wright and Ms. Pridgen both of them attacked her.
Wright allegedly pulled the victim's hair and held her in place while Ms. Pridgen hit her several times in the face with a closed fist, a police report on the incident said.
According to the report, neither Wright nor Ms. Pridgen have been formally charged as of press time.
