Full SizePeople gathered early in the parking lots around Berkeley Mall and waited in their cars as rain fell until just before the July Fourth fireworks display began. Once the rain cleared, families and friends sat in lawn chairs and on the tailgates of trucks as they watched the explosions light up the night sky.
