Veterans to be honored

Wayne County will observe Saturday as National Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day.
The event will kick off at 10 a.m. with a celebration at the Wayne County Museum, 116 N. William St., and ceremony at the Wayne County Veterans Memorial, 224 E. Walnut St. Vietnam-era military vehicles will be on display, and the Encore Entertainment Singers will perform. The names of POW/MIA from the state will be read, and there will be a military honors ceremony.
Light refreshments will be served.
The event is being sponsored by the Wayne County Veterans and Patriots Coalition.
