Woman shot in heel

A Goldsboro woman is recovering today after being shot in the heel at a local night club Saturday morning.
The shooting took place at Camron's Clubhouse and Grille on Ash Street at 1:50 a.m.
Cierra Charelle Abrams, 21, of East Walnut Street, was released from Wayne Memorial Hospital after being treated for a gunshot wound, according to a Goldsboro police report.
Ms. Abrams was hit when two groups of men began fighting just before the club closed down, the report said. One of the men involved in the fight fired three rounds from a handgun.
No suspects were immediately identified.
