On Oct. 28 at 3:15 p.m., Goldsboro officers responded to the UpScale Barbershop located at 716-B East Ash St. regarding shots being fired at the business while several persons were inside. Officers determined an unknown subject fired shots at the rear door of the business and fled the scene.

On Oct. 29 at 2:43 a.m., Goldsboro officers responded to the area of the Waffle House and McDonald's in the 2000 block of Wayne Memorial Drive. As officers arrived, witnesses at the Waffle House advised officers that they heard shots being fired then discovered a damaged window. Further investigation showed damaged windows at the McDonald's. No injuries were reported.
