Vendors being sought for Beak Week

The Arts Council of Wayne County is accepting vendor applications for the city of Goldsboro's first Beak Week Festival.
The festival will be held Saturday, Sept. 13, from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. in front of City Hall on Center Street.
The new event will feature a day of live music on two stages, activities for children and adults, food and art.
The Arts Council is seeking vendors of handmade goods and homegrown and locally grown produce. Vendor spaces are 10 feet by 10 feet in size and cost $50. Vendors are expected to supply their own tents, tables and chairs.
The deadline for vendor applications is Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 5 p.m.
