Police look into shooting reports

Goldsboro police are investigating two overnight shootings.
Sir Calvin Jamez Johnson, 17, of 1406 Adams St., was struck in the foot and buttocks when he was shot while walking along the 500 block of Olivia Lane shortly after midnight today, according to a Goldsboro police report.
Johnson told police someone came up behind him and fired three shots, two of which struck him. He said he ran north on South Slocumb Street to escape his alleged attackers.
Johnson was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital by Wayne County EMS where he was treated and released.
The other shooting occurred about 10:30 p.m. at the home of Barbara Stephen Stackhouse, 8235 S. Franklin St.
Police said someone fired several shots into the house, which was occupied at the time. Three front windows were struck, as was the brick facing.
Damage included $150 to the windows, $200 to the bricks, $100 to an interior drywall and $25 to a mirror.
