A pair of Wayne County teens are charged with breaking into a place of worship today after Wayne County sheriff's deputies connected them with a break-in at a church in the Rosewood community Monday.
Dylan Garret Thomas, 16, 207 Princeton Road, and Milton Ray Atkinson, 19, 416 Talton Road, are each charged with breaking and entering a place of worship, larceny after breaking and entering, and possession of stolen goods, according to a press release.
Both teens were placed in the Wayne County Jail, each under a $11,000 secured bond.
Deputies investigating a reported break-in at the Oakland Community Church at 921 Oakland Church Road in Rosewood traced the stolen property back to Thomas and Atkinson, according to the press release.
The property recovered by deputies was returned to the church.
