A Goldsboro man has been charged in connection with a carjacking that took place Saturday morning outside of Sid's Showgirls on William Street.
Terrell Prince James, 24, of 112 E. Elm St., was charged by Goldsboro police with felony larceny of motor vehicle, felonious restraint and misdemeanor assault on a female.
James allegedly got into Seimeco Thompson's 2007 Jeep Patriot in the parking lot of Sid's Showgirls and forced her to drive off under threat of violence.
Ms. Thompson was forced to drive to her residence in the Alpha Arms Apartment complex before she was assaulted after getting out of the car.
Ms. Thompson alleges James threatened to stab or to shoot her if she did not comply.
Her car was later discovered behind James' residence, leading to his arrest.
James is being held under a $55,000 secured bond.
