Disability walk set for May 8

The 17th Annual Hal Plonk Disability Awareness Walk, sponsored by the Mayor's Committee for Persons with Diability, will be held Wednesday, May 8, starting with registration at St. Paul Methodist Church at 204 E. Chestnut St. at 9:30 a.m.
The five-block walk will begin at 10 a.m.
The Eastern Wayne High School Band will perform, and there will refreshments, balloons and face painting.
