Man hurt in shooting

A 19-year-old shooting victim was treated and released from the emergency room at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Friday night.
Michael Antonio Thompson, 127 Mill Creek Court, told Goldsboro police he was shot in the right leg while on the 900 block of Olivia Lane.
According to the police report, he said he did not see who shot him, but described the person as a black man.
The incident occurred at 8:22 p.m.
No further information about the investigation was available as of press time.
