Lillian Bridgers stands behind a glass door as she leads a tour of the new Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center, 2001 E. Ash St., during an open house last week. The new center has had 223 new seniors sign in since it opened just over a month ago. Officials said that in the old John Street location, that would have been the center's average over the course of an entire year. The center is open to any and all of the 22,000 seniors in Wayne County. For information, call 919-731-1591.
