Deadline nears for veterans parade

As the deadline for entering Saturday's Veterans Day parade nears, the organization putting the event on is urging members of the community to sign up to participate.
Representatives from the Wayne County Veterans and Patriots Coalition said that, to date, roughly 30 groups have agreed to join the procession, which is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. in downtown Goldsboro.
But there are still a few more days left to help the organization make this year's parade "the best ever."
The official deadline for entering is Wednesday.
