WCC set to hold 'Discover Wayne' open house Oct. 18-19

Wayne Community College will hold its annual "Discover Wayne" open house on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 18 and 19, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. both days.
Potential students will have the opportunity to tour the campus and learn about programs of study, the admissions process, financial aid and scholarships, transfer options, campus resources and student life.
The event targets high school juniors and seniors, but is open to the public, said Anne Millington, WCC's director of cooperative programs.
"It is advantageous to anyone considering attending Wayne Community College," she said.

Parents of students who attend the open house will be invited to an evening session that will provide more information on the programs and processes, particularly related to admission and financial aid.
