Man robbed, shot at

A Goldsboro man was robbed at gunpoint Friday morning before fleeing from the two suspects as they fired three shots at him.
Ervico Triplett, 37, of 1306 Stevens St. told Goldsboro police he was in the 500 block of Day Circle on the way to see a friend Friday morning shortly after 5 a.m. when two black males approached and "started chatting him up."
One pulled a gun, the type was not listed on the police report, and told him, "You already know what this is."
The men robbed Tripplet of an $800 white gold necklace, $400 watch, $600 white gold wedding band, a $300 cell phone and black shorts worth $30.
When the two men started to force him to walk behind a building, Tripplet fled towards at building at 300 Day Circle.
He told police that he heard three shots fired in his direction and saw dirt flying up from the ground where the bullets struck.
