Residential shooting

Goldsboro police responded Saturday to a shots fired call in the 500 block of Olivia Lane. Upon arriving at 716 Olivia Lane officers found that the front porch of the home had been shot nine times with a .45 caliber handgun. The resident, Catherine Braswell, 66, was unharmed.

Stolen handguns

While sitting in his parked car at Teasers, 1716 U.S. 117, Rashawn Princeton Pridgeon, 25, of Dudley, was approached by a man on foot. The man stopped and spoke to Pridgeon, who had two handguns in the passenger seat. The unidentified man reached in and grabbed the Glock .45 and the Ruger .40 caliber weapons. Pridgeon fled and later reported the theft to the Goldsboro Police Department.

Scooter stolen at gunpoint

Before 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Shai Valentine, 17, stopped his scooter at a traffic light in the 100 block of East Walnut Street. A car carrying three black men pulled alongside and the rear passenger stuck a gun out the window, demanding the scooter. Valentine dropped the scooter and ran. One of the men grabbed the scooter and both he and the car headed west toward Slocumb Street.
