Better teacher classes start today

Wayne Community College Continuing Education will offer a series of teacher effectiveness classes in July.
Teachers and others who work in classroom can choose from seven hybrid (combining classroom and online instruction) courses that will be taught Monday-Thursday, today through July 24. The classes will provide continuing education units and renewal credits for educational professionals.
Courses and their times and locations include "Differentiated Instruction," 9 a.m.-noon, Spruce 120; "The Human Side of Education," 9 a.m.- noon, Spruce 138; "Programs and Strategies for Pre-K Classrooms," 9 a.m.- noon, Spruce 142; "Building Character," 1-4 p.m., Spruce 138; "Classroom Management," 1-4 p.m., Spruce 208; "Creative Problem Solving," 1-4 p.m., Spruce 120; and "Effective Teacher Training," 5-8 p.m., Azalea 210.
