Did the Kuhlmans' story touch your heart? Are you a veteran, an animal lover or have a  grandchild or child who loves his or her pet madly?

Then join The News-Argus as we work to raise money to keep this Wayne County family together.

Contribute any amount to our 12 PAWS AND A PRAYER FUND and we will print a dedication or memorial to your pet or a special message honoring your child or grandchild.

Or, if you prefer, simply remain anonymous.

Any amount will help -- and all extra money will be donated to the Airman and Family Readiness Center for use for other military families.

NO EXPENSES WILL BE TAKEN OUT OF THIS FUND OTHER THAN THOSE SPECIFIED.

PLEASE HURRY. We have only a couple of weeks to make this happen. If you wish to donate, send a check made out to The News-Argus to PAW FUND, P.O. Box 10629, Goldsboro, N.C. 27532.

Or, if you are near our office, please stop by and drop your donation in our PAW FUND BASKET.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a private money-raising effort sponsored by The News-Argus and was not initiated by the family or the Air Force.
