A/C parts taken from Salvation Army
Kenny Ingleheart reported to Goldsboro police a larceny at Salvation Army Store on East Holly Street. A compressor and coils from an air conditioning, worth $2,000, were taken, with an estimated $600 worth of damage done to the property.
Church damaged
Joseph Stevens of Goldsboro reported to Goldsboro police seven posts at Deliverance Evangelistic Church were damaged by an unknown source. Damages were estimated at $100.
Paint thrown in car
Travis J. Kornegay, 30, Center Street, Mount Olive, told Goldsboro police he allowed a friend to drive his vehicle and while she stopped at a store on Wayne Memorial Drive, someone threw paint inside the vehicle, causing $800 worth of damage to the interior, as well as damaging several articles of clothing.
Break-in, nothing taken
Harry Lee Hill Jr. reported to Goldsboro police a break-in at Church of Christ on South Slocumb Street Friday morning. While investigating, an alarm was activated and police discovered a window had been broken out during a break-in the previous day. Nothing was missing.
Copper stolen
John Earl Jordan of Goldsboro, representing Reliable Used Cars on N. William Street, reported to Goldsboro police the theft of copper and an air conditioner coil from an air conditioning unit on the north side of the building, causing $1,300 worth of damage.
Thefts
•Fannie Leach of Dupont Circle reported to Goldsboro police the theft of a $900 black laptop from her home.
•William Uzzell III of April Lane told Goldsboro police while he and his wife were at a bar on North William Street, someone entered their parked vehicle and stole several items, including reading glasses, over $200, a purse, checkbook and assorted papers and credit cards. A check of a security tape showed a black male in a white ball cap, blue jeans, and blue and white striped shirt enter the vehicle and remove several things.
