Four city residents were shot within a four-hour window this weekend, and members of the Goldsboro Police Department are asking the public to help them bring those responsible to justice.
Vanradius Vonyell Fields, 26, and Shawn Naurice Holmes, 27, were hospitalized after shots were fired at the Headquarters Barbershop at 533 E. Ash St., just before 11 p.m. Saturday.
And several hours later, Michael Deshaun Sawyer, 20, and Christah Tanjere Battle, 17, were wounded when someone opened fire at a graduation party being held at Party Central, located on Corporate Drive.
As of press time, little was known about the injuries the four sustained in the two incidents -- Ms. Battle was treated at Wayne Memorial Hospital and released; Sawyer underwent emergency surgery; and the conditions of Holmes and Fields remain unclear.
Anyone with information concerning this case is asked to call the Goldsboro Police Department at (919) 580-4211 or Crime Stoppers at (919) 735-2255.
