City man found dead on street

A city man was shot and killed Wednesday night.
Goldsboro police found the body of Delindao Alijuwon Miller, 23, in the 600 block of West Holly Street at about 11 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Miller's body was discovered near Franklin Bakery's Sunbeam Bread and Rolls complex, several blocks from U.S. 70, and less than a half mile from his home at 831 W. Oak St. in the Goldsboro Housing Authority property of Westhaven Apartments.
Police and Wayne County Emergency Medical Services responded after an unidentified person contacted Wayne County Communications Center concerning a shooting.
Goldsboro police are continuing to investigate the case.
