*Velma Baldwin reported the theft of a $3,000 air conditioner during a break-in at her home in the 100 block of Sundance Trail in Dudley that took place between May 3 and Thursday. The back door to the home was pried open during the incident.
*John Murphy reported the larceny of a $2,000 air conditioner compressor from the outside of a home in the 400 block of Sheridan Forest Road that occurred between March 12 and May 4.
*Charles Smith II reported the theft of a 9 mm handgun, valued at $400, from the glove box of his truck while it was in the parking lot of Irish Inn at 1104 Sunburst Drive that occurred April 28.
*Office Depot employee Cathy Jones reported a larceny that occurred at the business located at 2110 Wayne Memorial Drive. The theft of two laptops, valued at $549.99 each, and a $229.99 digital camera took place on Thursday afternoon. After a man asked to view the three items, he grabbed them and ran out of the store, according to the report.
