The city of Goldsboro, in conjunction with Wayne County and NCDOT, has employed a consultant to prepare a comprehensive plan for its Urbanized Area.

As part of this plan, a study area of Wayne Memorial Drive/Herman Street running from Ash Street to the new U.S. 70 Bypass has been identified as requiring an independent scope of work to adequately plan for future needs relative to transportation concerns.

Holland Consulting Planners, Ramey Kemp Associates and the city of Goldsboro invite residents to attend a public meeting that will solicit input as to needs and services that are anticipated within this study area Thursday at 7 p.m. in the large conference room in the City Hall Annex at 200 N. Center St.

After a formal presentation, representatives will speak individually to interested parties.

Prior to the meeting, residents can visit the city's website at www.ci.goldsboro.nc.us and complete the "Goldsboro Urbanized Area Comprehensive Plan On-Line Questionnaire." A link is provided on the bottom left side of the page. For information, call 580-4333.
