Gunfire outside Fast Eddie's

Tramarus Sasser reported he was shot by stray gunfire in the parking lot outside of Fast Eddie's Sports Bar, located at 1308 Parkway Drive, about 2:30 a.m. Sunday. Sasser told authorities he was struck in the lower back by a stray round that was fired during a dispute in the parking lot, but that he was not involved.

B&Es and larcenies

*Hobie Kemp reported a break-in made into an unsecured window at a detached garage on his property in the 2900 block of N.C. 111 N. that occurred between Thursday and Friday. The stolen property included a KX 250F dirt bike and assorted tools. The total value of the stolen property was reported at $3,800.

*Ron Homby reported the theft of a/c unit, valued at $6,000, at a property in the 400 block of Lee's County Club Road.

*Tosombra Faison reported a break-in at her home in the 800 block of Durham Lake Road in Dudley that occurred Friday. Entry was made through a side door. More than $1,500 of property was stolen that included a TV, a video game system and video games.

*Collis Carr reported the theft of two lawn mowers and an aerator from a barn on his property in the 800 block of Old Grantham Road between Thursday and Saturday. The property was valued at more than $2,000.

*Heneretta Jones reported a break-in at her home in the 100 block of Dell Drive in Dudley that occurred Sunday. A .25-caliber automatic handgun was stolen after a rear window was entered.

*Teresa Head reported the theft of $2,825 of jewelry from her home in the 2600 block of New Hope Road between April 6 and April 15. No forced entry to the home is believed to have been made.

*Allison Hill reported at break-in at her home in the 1500 block of Thunder Swamp Road in Mount Olive that occurred between April 7 and April 21. A side door was forced open to gain entry. During the incident three TVs, two game consoles, a stereo system, a vacuum cleaner and a necklace were stolen. The total amount of stolen goods was valued at more than $3,500.

*Michael Harris reported a break-in at his home in the 1700 block of Salem Church Road that occurred between Saturday and Monday. A window was broken out and $2,500 of property was stolen that included televisions and laptops.

*Lonieka Garner reported that while she was in the upstairs of her home she heard a noise coming from the first floor, according to an incident report. She went to the top of her stairs and saw a man wearing all black at the bottom the staircase. She ran to her bedroom and called authorities. No forced entry to the home was discovered.
