Bullet strikes truck

Sherman Davis reported finding a bullet hole in the rear of his 1999 Chevy pick up truck on Wednesday. The bullet entered the rear of the vehicle and cracked the front windshield. The damage caused to the truck was reported at $500.

B&Es and larcenies

*Phvoc Nguyen reported the theft of an a/c unit, hot water heater, metal door, metal faucet and door knobs from a home in the 400 block of Murray Street that occurred between Feb. 21 and Wednesday. Entry was made through an unsecured door.

*Melissa Barksdale reported a break-in at her home in the 100 block of South Running Deer Circle. Ms. Barksdale told authorities that the suspect(s) cut a wire to disable her alarm system and entered her home through a rear door. Property stolen during the incident included a $2,000 TV, jewelry and assorted prescription medications. The total value of stolen property was more than $2,500.

*James Ivey reported the theft of a $500 air compressor, $500 water pump, $300 hydraulic motor and $450 in tractor draw bars. The property was taken from a shelter on open farm land on Piney Grove Road in Seven Springs between Monday and Tuesday.

*Earline Strickland reported a theft of $2,000 in jewelry and a $300 shotgun from her home in the 600 block of Saulston Road Wednesday. A rear window was pried open to gain entry.
