SNOW HILL -- Police in Snow Hill have arrested a man in connection with the armed robbery of a Bojangles restaurant Wednesday morning.
Justin Tyson, 22, was charged with armed robbery. A car also believed to be involved in the holdup was seized.
The same restaurant was robbed Jan. 23 by three armed men -- the same night that a KFC restaurant on Berkeley Boulevard was robbed by three men with matching descriptions.
Police would not say if they believe the robberies were related.
The robbery happened around 6:40 a.m. Wednesday, according to Snow Hill police, with several customers inside the store at the time.
The car seized was a Mercury Cougar.
The same Bojangles at 1035 Kingold Blvd. was robbed Jan. 23 about 9:15 p.m. Police were looking for three suspects in that armed robbery. The KFC on Berkeley Boulevard also was robbed on Jan. 23, around 8 that night.
