Miss America Laura Kaeppeler
Miss Wisconsin Laura Kaeppeler was crowned Miss America Saturday night.
Miss North Carolina, Hailey Best of Goldsboro, earned a spot in the top 15 semifinalists but was eliminated when the field was trimmed to 12.
Miss Oklahoma was first runner-up and Miss New York was second runner-up.
