Burglaries, break-ins and larcenies
*Jose Huerton reported a burglary at his home in the 100 block of Oak Ridge Drive in Dudley on Friday around 11 p.m. According to the report, two suspects entered his home and demanded money. Nothing was stolen from the home, and no one was injured in the incident.
*Norma Jackson reported that an unknown suspect shot a firearm at her vehicle around 6:30 p.m. Nov. 22 while her vehicle was parked at her residence in the 100 block of Astor Court. The round struck the vehicle's radiator causing $350 in damage.
*Dwayne Fraser, an employee of the Goldsboro Old Navy, reported the attempted theft of $220 worth of clothing Wednesday afternoon by three women. The suspects were detained by Wayne County Sheriff's deputies and cited for shoplifting.
*Robert Boswell reported finding the ATM at RBC Bank, 106 Spence Ave., damaged on Thursday. According to the report, an unknown subject(s) attempted to pry open the front of the machine.
*Berkeley Mall Sears employee Mary Coombs reported larceny committed of a fellow employee from the store on Saturday afternoon. According to the report, the employee is accused of voiding a customer's transaction and pocketing the money.
*China King, 1803 E. Ash St., was broken into around 2 a.m. Saturday, reported employee Wei Fang. According to the report, a suspect broke through a glass door, causing $250 in damage, entered the restaurant, and stole $10 in coins.
*Francica Hernandez reported a break-in at this home in the 100 block of Red Cedar Lane. According to the report, the suspect(s) entered the home by breaking a window using a small shovel. The stolen items include a 32-inch flat-screen, a stereo system, a DVD player, three Dish Network television boxes, jewelry and a cell phone. The total value of the stolen property was more than $1,300.
*Sharon Lynnette Barrow reported the theft of a UNC flag and flag pole, valued at $50. The property was removed from the front porch of her home in the 300 block of Oriole Drive in Dudley Sunday evening.
