In honor of the Thanksgiving holiday, Case Farms recently donated more than 20,000 pounds of poultry to community organizations and its employees. Over the past several weeks, CAI Sports, the Salvation Army, the Community Soup Kitchen of Goldsboro, House of Fordham and East Christian Ministries together received donations of partially fried chicken donated by Case Farms' Goldsboro plant division.

In addition to serving its community, Case Farms honored its employees by hosting several Thanksgiving activities. The company hosted a pre-Thanksgiving meal for its day and night shift plant employees and distributed more than 1,185 turkeys, totaling nearly 19,000 pounds, to all of its processing, hatchery, feed mill, garage and broiler employees.

"Case Farms is proud to support area non-profit organizations as well as our own employees," said Case Farms general manager Kevin Miller.
