D.J. Coles, youth ministry coordinator and youth pastor at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, has released a new Christmas CD, "Christmas Messages."

Coles, a graduate of Eastern Wayne High School, Wayne Community College and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is also a health educator with WATCH, in addition to developing a recording career.

His debut project, "A Prayer for America," was released in 2003, followed by the national release of "Your Grace" three years later.

He has performed around the country, including opening for Vickie Winans during a performance at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. He has also won three Far East talent competitions and participated in a TV singing competition, "Gifted," that aired on Trinity Broadcasting Network.

"Christmas Messages" can be purchased on iTunes and Cdbaby.com. A limited number of signed copies can be purchased at the Christian Soldier in Goldsboro.

On Nov. 29, his alma mater, Eastern Wayne High School, will honor him with "D.J. Coles Night," during which he will sing the "Star Spangled Banner" and be on hand with copies of his Christmas release.
