WCC to hold financial literacy sessions

Wayne Community College will conduct nine Financial Literacy Loan counseling sessions in the next few weeks. The sessions are required for anyone interested in applying for a William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan, low-interest loans to eligible students.
Sessions will be held at Wayne Learning Center on the WCC campus Tuesday from 3-4 p.m. and 6-7 p.m. in Moffatt Auditorium; Thursday in Room 161 from 2-3 and 5-6 p.m.; Monday, Aug. 1, from 9-10 a.m. and 11 a.m. until noon in Room 161; on Wednesday, Aug. 3, from 4-5 and 6-7 p.m. in Room 161; and on Tuesday, Aug. 9, from 3-4 p.m. in Room 104 of the Walnut Building.
Participants must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and turn in all requested documents to the WCC financial aid office prior to the session. No pre-registration is required but attendees must present photo ID such as a driver's license, student identification or special identification to be admitted to the session.
