Dana Jones pours orange syrup onto a shaved ice treat inside the S.J. Hawaiian Shaved Ice shop on Cashwell Drive. On an average day, Jones said she will make more than a hundred of the frozen concoctions. But as the temperature increases, so does her work. With temperatures hovering around 100 in recent days, she said she has made as many as 200 a day.
