The Goldsboro Police Department made a third and final arrest in a shooting at 404-C N. George St. that sent six young people to the hospital in the early hours of May 22.

The latest person arrested in the case was a 15-year-old teen who was charged with 10 counts of discharging a weapon into occupied property and six counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

The juvenile was arrested on July 1 at his Goldsboro home and taken to Pitt County Juvenile Detention Center in Greenville.

The other suspects are Tremayne Malik Lane, 18, of Royal Drive in Dudley, who was arrested June 10, and Shavaye Faronte Brooks, 16, of South Kornegay Street, who was already serving a sentence in Wayne County Detention Center when he was charged on June 13 for his connection in the shooting. Both young men remain in custody.

All three of the teens recently attended Goldsboro High School and were arrested under the same charges.

Police said they have recovered two firearms of different calibers used in the shooting.

The shots were fired from outside the home, with the bullets entering the home through the house's siding and window while a party was taking place.

It has not been ruled out that the shots were fired from a vehicle, police said.

No one was killed in the shooting, but all the victims were taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital, and two of the victims, an unidentified 15-year-old juvenile and 16-year-old James Crawford Jr., of Greenleaf Street, were airlifted to Pitt Memorial Hospital.

The other victims of the shooting include the home's resident, Raimonte Walls, 21; Covia Williams, 19, of Rudolph Street; Teianna Howell, 16, of North Alabama Avenue; and Demetrius Raiford, 21, of North Kornegay Street.
