Victim in shooting is listed in critical condition

DUDLEY -- A man found on Eagle Ridge Road suffering from several gunshot wounds is listed in critical condition at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Marlow Eugene Holmes, 36, was found around 9:45 p.m. Wednesday after Wayne County sheriff's deputies were called to the scene of a shooting.
Detectives believe Holmes was shot in a home on nearby Pine Hill Road, where they discovered blood stains after a tip that the shooting had occurred in the neighborhood about a mile away from where Holmes was found.
According to a Sheriff's office report, investigators believe he was shot at the residence then driven to the spot and dumped out by his assailant(s).
