The Wayne County Planning Board Tuesday night approved three final plats and delayed action on a preliminary one.
The final plats are:
*Emily Britt, owner/developer William Britt one lot on Manley Grove Church Road, Grantham Township
*Beaman Family Estate, owner/developer M.J. Beaman, seven lots on O'Berry Road, Brogden Township
*Willie Johnson heirs, owner/developer Willie Johnson heirs/Wanda Sloan Johnson, four tracts on Zion Church Road, Indian Springs Township.
The board delayed action on a preliminary plat for Western Wayne Estates four lots on N.C. 581 North, Buck Swamp Township. The owner/developer is William Lane.
Planning Board members were concerned that the plat had made changes to a proposed circular street that would run through the subdivision. The revised plat called for construction to begin on opposite sides of the circular street. However, the two streets would dead end at the back of the property and not connect.
Board members said that the streets should connect.
In other business, the board instructed County Planner Connie Price to study the county's mobile home set-up ordinance to determine what, if any changes were needed.
