Southern Bank's Gipson recognized

Dene Gipson, customer service representative in Mount Olive, was honored as Division I CSR of the Year at Southern Bank's Annual Best Bankers Event held in Myrtle Beach, S.C., recently.
Mrs. Gipson is a graduate of Rosewood High School. She has been in the banking industry for 17 years and has held positions of teller, teller supervisor, vault custodian, and customer service representative.
She has been employed by Southern Bank for the past 15 years.
Gipson and her husband, Jimmy, live in Goldsboro. She has two children, two step-children and 10 grandchildren.
