Chidi Bowman, a fourth-grade student at School Street Elementary, looks over photographs of famous black Americans that are part of a mini-Black History exhibit in the classroom of teacher Teresa Joyner. Bowman was looking at a photo of baseball pitching great Satchel Paige. In addition to viewing the photos and accompanying biographies, students also watched a video on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
