The 20th annual "Career Day" co-hosted by Wayne Community College's Cooperative Education Department and Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Airman and Family Readiness Center is scheduled for Wednesday, March 16. This free public job fair will be held from 9 a.m. until noon in the Learning Center atrium at the college.

Business and industry representatives will share information about employment needs and criteria. Participants can meet employers, ask questions, leave resumes and set up interviews.

Employers are anticipated from the fields of health care, finance, education, automotive, law enforcement, human services, business, sales, military, mechanical, placement agencies, and local and state government.

"The focus of the career fair is on technical and vocational occupations,"said Lorie Waller, the college's cooperative education coordinator. "A broad range of employers will be represented so that there will be an area of interest for just about everyone."

For more information on attending the event as a job seeker or as an exhibitor, contact Mrs. Waller at 739-7005 or a loriew@wayne cc.edu.
