Two found dead
Two men were declared dead by Wayne EMS after been found unresponsive in two separate incidents, Goldsboro police said.
Johnny Ray Price, 64, Hugh Street, was found by his brother, Ronald Price who said he had forced his way into the house after he had not seen his brother in a few days.
In the second case, James Washington, 69, Porter Street was found unresponsive by his wife.
Thefts
*Richard Peoples, 34, West New Hope Road reported to Goldsboro police the theft of an ATV four-wheeler valued at $8,000. Damages totaled $100 to the trailer the ATV was taken from.
*Jeffrey Lemont Durham, 23, Hugh Street, reported to Goldsboro police that someone took two speaker amps valued at $800 from his vehicle. Damages totaled $100 to his car door.
*Syreeta Lane, 34, Prince Avenue, reported to Goldsboro police that someone took her pocketbook containing $2,600 in cash after she left it sitting in her seat at a movie theatre.
*Someone stole $600 in copper wiring from underneath a house on East Holly Street, according to a Goldsboro police report.
