Armed robbery
The Kangaroo Express at 515 E. New Hope Road was robbed at 1:25 a.m. Saturday. According to the report, the suspect brandished a small, dark gray pistol and ordered the store's employee behind the counter to get his hands up. The suspect then leaped over the county and demanded the employee open the register.
The suspect left on foot with about $45 in cash.
Bad end to a night out
A 21-year-old Seven Springs woman reported to the Goldsboro Police Department that a man struck her vehicle with a baseball bat as she was leaving Lamar's bar on South George Street around 3 a.m. Sunday.
According to the report, the woman said she did not know the man or why he wanted to cause damage to the vehicle.
To make the situation even more unfortunate, the vehicle belongs to the woman's brother who is currently stationed in Iraq.
Two-wheeler stolen
A Honda motorcycle, valued at $6,000, was stolen from the bed of a pickup truck around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.
The pickup truck was parked in the parking lot of a motel on Corporate Drive. According to the report, the motorcycle's owner said it would have taken four people to have moved the bike.
