Kirk Keller, of Wayne Community College, adds the finishing touches before a Civil War replica cannon is moved to a flatbed truck Thursday. Wayne Community College and the North Carolina park system combined efforts to build the replica for Fort Macon Park. It will be on display for the Goldsboro Christmas parade Saturday and the Pikeville Christmas parade Sunday before being delivered Dec. 15 to Fort Macon.
